|Innovative New Antenna for GPS Applications|
EAD is pleased to introduce an innovative new antenna for GPS applications. The GPS-Stubby is an active GPS stub antenna designed for mobile terminals requiring an external GPS antenna. With effective gain of approximately 26 dB thanks to an integrated LNA, the GPS-Stubby operates in compact dimensions of 67mm in height and 18.5mm in diameter. It is housed in a robust sheath and can be supplied with a SMA-Male straight or SMA-Male right angle connector.

|High reliability EDLC supercapacitor ideal for extended temperature long-life applications|
Murata announced the addition of the DMG series to the company’s line of thin, low-resistance, electrical double-layer capacitors (EDLCs). The DMG supercapacitors, which provide high power back-up, achieve high reliability with a five-year life span at 70 degrees C, making them an ideal choice for enterprise solid state drive (SSD) manufacturers and telecom “last gasp” applications. Smart meters are also a key application for the DMG series as the full operating temperature range is – 30 degrees C to + 85 degrees C.

The LD6815 small low drop out (LDO) regulator family from NXP is available in the standard package SOT753 (SOT23-5) with a size of 2.9 x 1.5 x 1.0 mm. This package facilitates optimal heat dissipation. With an ultra-high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of 75 dB and a voltage drop of 250 mV at 150 mA current rating, it ensures high battery lifetime and superior operating stability.Together with the LD6805, the LD6815 builds up the 150 mA high PSRR low-voltage LDO product portfolio with different package variants.

|High peak current electrical double-layer capacitors offer low ESR in small slim package|
Murata introduced a high peak current electrical double-layer capacitor (EDLC) series with a profile of 2.5mm±0.2mm. The newest EDLC series from Murata also features lowest resistance (40m ohm to 60m ohm) and stable temperature characteristics, enabling it to be charged and discharged frequently over the operating range of -30°C to +70°C. Initially, the DMF EDLC series will offer 330mF and 470mF capacitance values to support various energy requirement demands.
