Cree, Inc., a market leader in LED lighting, announces a higher maximum forward drive current for the XLamp® MX-6 LED. The MX-6’s PLCC package is optimized for indoor lighting where enhanced light uniformity and LED-to-LED color consistency is important. At 1 A of current, XLamp MX-6 LEDs provide up to 300 lumens in cool white (6500 K) and 245 lumens in warm white (3000 K).

XLamp® XM LEDs are Most Efficient Lighting-Class LEDs in the Industry Cree, a market leader in LED lighting, announces a breakthrough new lighting-class LED platform, the XLamp® XM LED. This new single chip LED delivers record-breaking efficacy of 160 lumens per watt at 350 mA. The LED also delivers 750 lumens at 2 A, which is equivalent to the light output of a 60 W incandescent light bulb at less than 7 watts.

Vishay has enhanced its ACAS 0606 AT and ACAS 0612 AT precision thin film chip resistor arrays with tighter absolute tolerance, relative tolerance and relative TCR for the new S, T and U accuracy grades. Typical applications will include industrial electronics, such as energy management, measurement control, sensors, scales and precision amplifiers; and automotive electronics, including engine control units, gearbox controls, safety, power supply electronics, body electronics, braking systems, climate control, steering technology and lighting.

Bourns is pleased to announce the release of four new series of High Voltage Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs). The new GDT series target industrial applications requiring high DC breakdown voltages. The 2-electrode GDT devices are offered with DC breakdown voltages ranging from 800-6000 volts.
