Cypress Introduces World's First 32-Mbit and 64-Mbit Fast Asynchronous SRAMs

New Devices Feature Fast Response Times and Smallest Footprint; Add to Industry’s Broadest Portfolio SAN JOSE, Calif., May 19, 2010 – Cypress Semiconductor Corp. today introduced 32-Mbit and 64-Mbit fast asynchronous SRAMs, the industry’s first such devices. The new SRAMs offer very fast response times and the smallest footprint at these densities. They target applications such as storage servers, switches and routers, testing equipment, high-end security systems and military systems.

DC/DC Converters from Diodes Incorporated Increase Efficiency

Delivering a continuous load current of up to 3A, the AP6507 and AP6508 synchronous DC/DC buck converters from Diodes Incorporated offer designers of distributed power systems an operating efficiency as high as 90%. With input voltage ranges of respectively 4.5V to 18V and 4.5V to 21V, these compact converters will support the needs of low voltage 5V and 12V bus systems in a broad range of consumer electronic products including monitors, LCD TVs and set-top boxes.

Dual 3A, 2.5MHz, 42V Boost/Inverting DC/DC

MILPITAS, CA – January 25, 2012 – Linear Technology Corporation announces the LT8582, a dual independent channel, step-up DC/DC converter with integrated fault protection features for output shorts, input/output overvoltages, and overtemperature conditions. Each channel of the LT8582 uses two integrated 42V switches: a 1.7A master switch and a 1.3A slave switch that can be tied together for a total current limit of 3A.
